Project Description: Runx2 is a major transcriptional regulator of both normal bone formation and cancer metastasis into bone. I am studying interactions between Runx2 and histone deacetylases in the regulation of bone-specific genes. This knowledge may have relevance in the treatment of bone cancers and other bone-related diseases.
